Thousands of pets became abandoned in Ukraine. Their owners either died or had to flee their houses. A lot of pets got injured and desperately need help. Animal shelters are packed and struggling with the lack of food, medications and other supplies.

Another big problem is zoos. There are currently three large zoos — Nikolaev Zoo, Kyiv Zoological Park and Kharkiv Zoo — affected by attacks carried out by the Russian military. Many zoo animals being killed, all of them are traumatized, suffering and hungry. We are trying to do our best to help them out.
